Virtual Rio Frio
On this page, you will find lots of virtual content to introduce you to the many sites and artifacts studied and recorded by the Rio Frio Regional Archaeological Project. You can view these from you computer or a mobile device. Most of the content has also been correctly scaled and is viewable on a VR headset for a more immersive experience.
Virtual walkthrough of the Rio Frio Caves
To start the tour, click the “play” button, then click and hold anywhere on the screen and move your mouse around to look around. Click on the red buttons to move to another location or on the photos to zoom in to points of archaeological interest. Be sure to have your sound on to listen to the sounds of the jungle and sites. The experience is best viewed in full screen mode.
